INSIGHT uses specially designed low-rolling resistance 165/65 R14 Bridgestone B391 tyres, mounted on 14 x 5.5JJ aluminium-alloy wheels. Honda claims the combination improves fuel efficiency by six per cent. The tyres have 40 per cent less rolling resistance and a five per cent reduction in weight compared with conventional tyres. Aerodynamic skirts are designed to smooth airflow around the rear wheels. A space-saver spare wheel is located under the cargo floor.
