HONDA describes the Prelude's angular design as "Classic 2+2 styling". The company aimed for an aggressive, refined look that was distinctively Honda with a low hood and cowl, expansive glass area and high rear deck. The new body efficiently distributes forces over a broad area. Suspension pickup points and impact points that are subject to high loading feature larger cross sections, thicker materials and broad, multiple load paths.
