HSV’s final-ever Grange variant – the SV – is a limited-run farewell to a 20-year nameplate as well as three decades of long-wheelbase models derived from the Statesman and Caprice.

Though it is essentially a paint and stripes package, the significance here is that there will never be a vehicle quite like this one available again – Australian-made, rear-drive, V8, 5.2m long, under $90K. And that’s very sad indeed.
