Hummer bids in

GENERAL Motors chief executive Rick Wagoner confirmed last week that the American auto giant "has some interested buyers" for its Hummer SUV brand.

According to Automotive News, Mr Wagoner told reporters in Michigan that the company was moving as quickly as possible toward a potential deal.
