TERRACAN lacks the flair and styling crispness of other recent Hyundais like the Tiburon sports coupe and the Getz mini car, maybe because it was styled in South Korea at the Namyang technical centre rather than being farmed out overseas. Hyundai has gone for the traditional medium off-roader boxy shape, borrowing elements from Toyota, Mitsubishi and Isuzu - and maybe Benz as well. The result is a predictable mish-mash. There are two versions, the Terracan and Terracan Highlander, the main real external difference bewteen them being the chrome grille and doorhandles on the upper-spec model shown here.
