BY MATT BROGAN | 28th Nov 2024

ISUZU Ute Australia has celebrated a triple milestone this week, announcing that it has sold over 350,000 vehicles in Australia – comprising more than 250,000 D-Max and 100,000 MU-X models.

With a grand total of 352,689 unit sales since its 2008 debut (and with the MU-X joining in 2013), Isuzu Ute Australia has enjoyed an equally strong 2024 with 25,644 D-Max utility models and 15,584 MU-X SUV models sold.

The year-to-date numbers place the vehicles at third- and second place in their respective categories. Isuzu Ute Australia sits in eighth place outright on the YTD chart.

Reflecting on the historical sales results, Isuzu Ute Australia managing director Junta Matsui said the brand’s success is “testament to the continual evolution of our product which has earnt a place with our valued customers”.

“From our humble beginnings in 2008 to becoming one of the most trusted and capable vehicle brands on the market, over 350,000 Isuzu D-Max and MU-X on Australian roads is proof of how far our vehicles have evolved over the years, earning a place in the lives of hundreds of thousands of Australians who rely on our vehicles every day,” he said.

“We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished this year, and with just two months remaining in 2024 we’re energised by the opportunities ahead.”

With the end of the year quickly approaching, IUA and its dealer network of over 165 sites nationwide are set to maintain its momentum through into 2025, with the brand trending towards the next milestone of 400,000 accumulated sales.
