Jaguar cuts XF prices

BY MARTON PETTENDY | 29th Jan 2010

JAGUAR Australia has slashed prices across its XF sedan range as a direct result of the federal import duty reduction from 2010.

Further improving the XF’s value equation compared with large luxury sedans from its most direct rivals, the entry-level XF 3.0 V6 is now priced at $105,990, representing a $3460 saving.

Similarly, the XF 3.0 V6 diesel is now $3260 more affordable at $112,990, while the XF 5.0 V8 costs $144,490 (down $3410) and the XFR flagship is now priced at $204,990 - $3460 less than before.

Prices remain the same for Jaguar’s entry-level X-Type, which is now in final run-out after it ended production last year. Limited stocks of the X-Type, which is heavily discounted at a driveaway price of $49,990, remain in Australian showrooms.

Meantime, the import tariff reduction was already factored into the list prices for both the 10MY XK coupe and convertible models, which is due on sale here around March, and Jaguar’s all-new XJ sedan flagship, which will be released in May.

2010 Jaguar XF pricing:
XF 3.0 V6 $105,990
XF 3.0 D $112,990
XF 5.0 V8 $144,490
XFR $204,990
