KIA Motors Australia has introduced a limited-issue Sports edition of its Carnival people-mover, offering up to $5400 of extra value for no additional cost to the recommended retail price.

Available on 2007-build EX versions of the $32,990 2.7-litre short-wheelbase Carnival and the $38,490 3.8-litre long-wheelbase Grand Carnival until the end of September, the Sport pack adds 16-inch alloy wheels, side steps, a nudge bar, Sports decals and steering wheel-mounted audio controls.

The SWB EX also has automatic transmission thrown in – it is standard elsewhere across the range – while all Sports models receive free on-road costs and five years of roadside assistance.

Premium and Platinum model variants are excluded from the deal.
