KIA is aiming to lift its Cerato sales in Australia by 20 per cent with the launch of a five-door hatch model variant.
The hatch shares the same equipment level as the sedan, which includes air-conditioning, CD stereo, remote central locking, front and rear electric windows, dual airbags, power steering and, unusually in this class, cruise control.
It also uses the same drivetrain as the sedan, a 105kW/186Nm 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine paired with either a five-speed manual or optional four-speed automatic.
Pricing starts from $18,990 driveaway for the manual and $20,990 for the automatic.
