AUSTRALIANS love a big SUV and with increasingly refined options coming from a growing list of brands, there’s never been a better time to jump into a jacked-up tough-looking family wagon.
With the Sorento, Kia has always offered a great-value package in the segment with decent space, practicality and ease of ownership, but with an increasing customer demand for more refinement, the Korean car-maker says it’s moving with the times.
For its third-generation, Kia has focussed on a more desirable package rather than the most affordable option in the market, with a recipe of more European-influenced looks, refined interiors and an involving locally honed chassis.
We jumped into the 2015 Sorento line-up for a tour around far north Queensland to see if the 2015 model has the enhancements to keep up the pressure against strong competition.
