LAMBORGHINI will build between 80 and 90 versions of its Concept S roadster.
The design study, which debuted at the Geneva car show in March, was intended to only give clues about the Italian supercar-maker’s roadster version of the Gallardo coupe.
However, the show response to the Concept S was so positive Lamborghini has decided to build the car, which will have no roof and two separate cockpits.
Lamborghini will also build the Gallardo Roadster, likely to be called the Spyder.
The Spyder will be unveiled at September’s Frankfurt motor show.
No prices have been set for either model but expect them to be stratospheric considering a Gallardo nudges $400,000.
