LEXUS will unveil the long-awaited convertible version of its three-year old IS range at the Paris motor show.
Using the 2.5-litre V6 petrol engine that forms the lynchpin of the range in Australia, the IS 250 C will feature a folding hard-top design. For visual cues to the latest CC, see the LF-C concept car from 2004.
The IS250 C will be the second Lexus available with in a coupe-cabriolet design after the seven-year-old SC 430, which – like the IS – debuted in concept car form at the Paris motor show (2000).
Meanwhile, the show is also expected to be the venue for the facelifted IS range. Changes are minor, related to a revised front bumper and airdam, altered tail-lights, different alloy wheel designs, upgraded audio/media units, and a host of trim changes inside and out.
