A NEW electronic control unit used in the IS300 controls the main electronic handling devices: ABS brakes, traction control and vehicle stability control (VSC). Fitted standard, VSC aims to provide optimal traction during cornering, dampening severe understeer or oversteer via the engine and/or the brakes. To do this, the system uses wheel-speed sensors at each wheel along with a throttle position sensor, a deceleration sensor, steering wheel angle sensor, G-force sensor and yaw-rate sensor.
