Lexus' X-rated IS250

THE spot marked X on the back of the IS250’s moniker and sheetmetal marks a limited-edition model restricted to 260 units and now on sale, priced from $64,390.

Over the standard specification, the IS250X has unique five-spoke 18-inch alloy wheels, a 14-speaker Mark Levinson stereo, satellite-navigation, a moonroof, leather seats, sports pedals and metallic scuff plates. Sports suspension is also standard.

The X-rated IS is available with either a manual or automatic transmission, however, exterior colours are restricted to silver, black or a “one-off” Vermilion red.
