Maserati's Coupe, Spyder bite

DELIVERIES of Maserati’s 2005 Coupe and Spyder begin this month, with prices falling $6000 as a consequence of the tariff reduction.

The Coupe now starts from $202,500 for the GT, while Spyder starts from $212,500 for its GT version.

Both models feature revised front and rear end styling, contrasting leather upholstery inside, blue-and-white instrumentation and more storage facilities.

The reverse gear lever now has a D (Drive) option for selecting first gear similar to the system developed on the new Quattroporte.

Under the skin, software developments in engine and transmission management aim to enhance smoothness and driveability.
