NOT to be outdone by Ferrari's new 599 coupe, fellow Italian and Fiat brand Maserati presented its limited-edition GranSport MC Victory in Sydney, for which it announced a price of $272,500.
From a total global production run of only 180 vehicles, Australia and New Zealand will land just five examples, which add a number of extras over the $248,500 GranSport coupe upon which the MC Victory is based.
Designed to celebrate the marque’s victory in the 2005 FIA GT Manufacturers' Cup and offering links with the title-winning Maserati MC12 racer, the road-going MC features blue carbon front and rear spoilers, an Italian flag embedded in its side panels, a more direct steering rack, leather and Alcantara interior trim and highlights, and carbon racing seats.
