First look: Mazza's MC-12 Corsa

MASERATI has produced a $1.7 million "Corsa" version of its MC12 GT racing car.

To be limited to 15 units worldwide, none of which will be homologated for road use, the Corsa is developed from the MC12 GT1 which won the 2005 FIA GT Manufacturers Cup.

The 1150kg two-seater has a carbon-fibre chassis and uses a 564kW 6.0-litre V12 engine paired with a Cambiocorsa gearbox.
