THE new Bravo range was launched in February, 1999, to replace the earlier Bravo launched in April, 1996. Under the skin, the current vehicle offers no great departure from its predecessor, so those trading up will have to look harder than a new buyer. Having said that, the new range - which has taken a step towards passenger car styling - has received dramatically soft curves to standout as a perfect balance of stylish looks and practical workhorse. There are 15 vehicles in the range with most having a choice of two engines the 2.6-litre four-cylinder petrol and the 2.5-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel with intercooler.
