BALL and nut, engine speed-sensing power steering is standard across the range. The three-spoke steering wheel has a comfortable size grip and turning it requires little effort to manoeuvre the vehicle at low speed. On the highway, the speed sensor provides a safe resistance to small movements in the wheel and this makes for a relaxing drive. Allow a little extra room than you might in the family wagon when turning in the street, as the turning circle required is 12 metres kerb to kerb. Two control stalks are fitted to the Bravo - one on the right of the steering wheel for indicators, headlights on/off and high beam, while on the left is window wipers and wash. Bravo models do not come with driver airbags in the steering wheel.
