A BALL and nut, engine speed-sensing power steering is standard across the range. The three-spoke steering wheel has a comfortable size grip and turning it requires little effort to manoeuvre the vehicle at low speed. On the highway the speed sensor provides a safe resistance to small movements in the wheel and this makes for a relaxing drive. Allow a little extra room than you might in the family wagon when turning in the street, as the turning circle required is 12.6-metre kerb to kerb. Two control stalks are fitted to the Bravo - one on the right of the steering wheel for indicators, headlights on/off and high beam, while on the left is window wipers and wash. Bravo models do not come with driver airbags in the steering wheel.
