MAZDA has officially unveilled the three-door version of its Mazda2 hatch and the good news is that Australia is to get its first example a month earlier than anticipated.
The first shipment now due in May and in dealer showrooms in early June.
Five-door sales of the stylish light car are already running rampant, with the second-generation model selling more than 7000 units in the five months since its launch in September (as much as four times the previous model).
Dealers are hoping for incremental increases from the three-door rather than just substitute sales.
