THE Tribute's dash is a basically conventional design with sound system controls placed high and easily reached, above the ergonomically sound rotating knobs used for the air-conditioning system. The main difference between Ford and Mazda dash panels is that the Mazda uses light markings on a dark background where the Ford opts for white-faced instruments. A fair-size glovebox is provided on the passenger's side, while there's a massive lidded container between the front seats large enough to swallow full-size street directories and much more.
