MERCEDES-BENZ offers its COMAND system - introduced in 1998 for the S-class - as optional equipment across the C-class range. Essentially a control centre for the radio, CD, CD stacker, TV receiver, phone and satellite navigation systems (if fitted), COMAND includes an in-dash monitor and also works in conjunction with the optional Linguatronic voice control system.
