MERCEDES-BENZ’S GLA crossover has really hit the ground running globally, with demand already outstripping supply even before the whole range hits dealer showrooms.

That situation is unlikely to change with the arrival of the volume-selling 250 4Matic in Australia, adding petrol and all-wheel drive, as well as some off-road capability to match its jumped-up hatchback styling.



Well-equipped and easy to drive, the latest addition to the burgeoning high-rise Benz crossover series should give the Audi Q3 and BMW X1 a big fright.
