Since the model first elegantly rolled into the range in the 1950s, the SL badge has served as an unmistakable flag bearer of luxury, performance and uncompromising style and it is still going strong today.
But with a convertible version of the potent Mercedes-AMG GT on the way is there room for two large, rear-drive, front-engined, convertible sportscars in the Benz fold?
