MINI has unveiled its two most sporting models – the polarising Coupe and the classical Roadster.
Each is distinctively ‘Mini’, but the brand claims the more sharply raked windscreens, lower rooflines and absence of rear seats gives each an identity all its own.
With surprisingly sharp pricing – thanks to the strong Aussie dollar – good performance credentials and distinctive styling, Mini should have a niche hit on its hands.
But is the addition of yet another Mini model line an example of the brand’s reach exceeding its grasp, or has it hit the nail on the head?
