WE all know times are tough at Mitsubishi Australia for reasons that have been repeatedly chronicled. So it’s nice to write about something positive in the shape of the company’s new mini car, the Colt. An impressive engineering and design job, it deserves to be a success. Mind you, because it is available with only a constantly variable transmission and base pricing starts at $18,990, that success won’t be in the mega-sales bracket. Nevertheless, those who do venture the Colt’s way are likely to be impressed by its driving behaviour and sheer user-friendliness.
