Verada is powered by a locally-made 3.5-litre, SOHC, 24-valve V6 engine

The engine develops 147kW at 5000rpm and 300Nm of torque at 4000rpm

The engine is a stroked version of the 3.0-litre V6 found in lower-spec Magna models

Verada uses the same MacPherson strut front and multi-link rear suspension found in the Magna

Australian-made EZ-Kool glass which reduces ultra-violet penetration and improves air-conditioning performance is standard

The Verada is distinguished from Magna by multi-parabola headlamps and front fog lamps, and bigger bumpers front and rear

The tail-lights are larger and L-shaped

A four-speed automatic with fuzzy logic is the only transmission choice

An electric sunroof is standard on the Verada Xi

A remote central locking system with an alarm and immobiliser is standard
