PATROL uses a multi-link suspension arrangement front and rear - long-travel three-link coils with heavy-duty leading arms up front and five-link coils with trailing arms at the rear. A stabiliser bar is also fitted at each axle. Double-acting telescopic shock absorbers are fitted front and rear and are located behind the coil springs for easy service and protection from stones, branches and other debris. Ground clearance is 210mm.
