OUT goes Nissan’s largely unloved Tiida small car, and in its place returns the once much-loved Pulsar nameplate attached to an all-new sedan.
The world has moved on in the seven years since the Pulsar name was lost in the wilderness, with the picture now dominated by heavyweights including the Toyota Corolla, Mazda3 and Holden Cruze.
The Pulsar-with-a-boot has to stand it alone until a hatch version arrives in May, but does our first taste of the working class hero show enough promise?
