NISSAN’S boxy X-Trail is no more, replaced by a far more curvaceous crossover with more space, refinement, driver appeal and advanced features than before. Yet there is still more than a hint of the old model’s charm so that existing fans have something to return to.
While the exterior differences might suggest that the Japanese are taking a bold step into the unknown, there is enough of the X-Trail’s good stuff to keep everybody happy.
This is a very solid effort.
