THE dashboard is a single-piece construction using continuous seam welding and double-walled seals to minimise vibration. The instrument cluster received new graphics in 1999. The 406 steering wheel incorporates the horn control, previously located on the steering column stalk. Twin illuminated vanity mirrors are standard and the centre console incorporates two cupholders.
