The Jumbuck was designed for those Asian, North African and Middle Eastern markets where small traders need cargo space but also want a sedan-like vehicle for their personal transport. It is selling well in Malaysia and is soon to be assembled in China. While not specifically designed for western markets, it caught the eye of the Proton importers in the United Kingdom and Australia as a kind of spiritual successor to Subaru's popular Brumby, which can still be seen doing light-duty service on Aussie farms today.
