THE Scenic seats five people in five individual seats. Frontal and seat-mounted side airbags are provided in the cockpit area, while an inflatable curtain further protects all window-seat occupants (front and rear) in the event of a serious side-on collision. These people are also served well with seatbelt pretensioners and load limiters. All seating positions have a headrest and three-point seatbelt, the latter retracting fully into the rear pillar when a seat fold, tumble or removal is required. Numerous storage solutions are offered, including under-seat drawers, under-floor bins, map pockets behind the front seatbacks and in the doors, and a chilled drink unit in the front centre console. A tray flips up from the rear of the front seat to provide a table for rear-seat passengers.
