DETAILS of the facelifted Rover 45 small car were revealed last week, before the release of full specifications on April 20.
The revised 45 will be launched at the Birmingham motor show on May 27, representing the last update to the current mid-sized Rover before its all-new replacement goes on sale in Australia in 2005.
Rover says the 45 update comprises a new front bumper, new larger integral front grille, all-new twin-lens headlights, new rear bumper, new tailgate/bootlid, remote boot opening, new subtle lip spoiler and new 16-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, the updated 45 will offer a new fascia design with rotary air vents, new fascia console with soft-touch membrane switches, new column stalks, revised seat design and fabrics, air-conditioning, master locking switch and driveaway locking.
Pricing in the UK will vary between around $A24,150 and $A39,150.
