SKODA has announced details of its all-electric Enyaq for Australia, the two-variant range now available to order from $69,990 plus on-road costs.
Skoda Australia says the Enyaq range will be initially available in rear-wheel drive Sportline or all-wheel drive RS grades, offering driving distances of 561km and 530km respectively on the WLTP cycle.
The Enyaq Sportline offers 210kW of power and 545Nm of torque while the Enyaq RS delivers 250kW, making it the most powerful production Skoda to date. The former is said to accelerate from 0-100km/h in 6.7 seconds while the latter achieves a 5.5-second sprint time.
Battery capacity is listed at 82kWh (gross) for both variants. DC fast charging is available at up to 175kW, allowing a 10-80 per cent charge time of 28 minutes. AC charging is offered at up to 11kW.
Equipment highlights for the Enyaq Sportline include 21-inch alloy wheels, Matrix LED headlights, LED daytime running- and tail-lights, a panoramic glass roof, black exterior detailing, handsfree tailgate operation, rear privacy glass, and Sport seats with front seat heating, powered driver seat adjustment and memory.
Tri-zone climate control is likewise standard, joining a 13.0-inch infotainment touchscreen running wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, DAB+ radio reception, and eight-speaker sound.
A 5.3-inch digital instrument panel and customisable LED cabin lighting round out the Enyaq Sportline’s highlights.
The Sportline is also available with Skoda’s Ultimate Pack ($6000) that adds augmented reality head-up display, adaptive damping, Canton audio, area view camera system, heated outboard rear seats, a heat insulating windshield, intelligent park assist, and Crystal Face LED grille.
For the flagship RS (from $83,990 + ORC) we again find 21-inch wheels accompanied this time by Skoda’s Crystal Face LED grille, RS design elements, and adaptive damping.
Inside, the grade offers leather-appointed upholstery, heated outboard rear seats, front seat massage functionality, augmented reality head-up display, Canton premium audio, a 360-degree camera system, and automated parking.
Colour choice include Black Magic, Graphite Grey, Mamba Green (RS only), Moon White, Race Blue, and Velvet Red. All are a no-cost option.
The Skoda Enyaq is backed by a seven-yar warranty and eight-year high-voltage battery warranty. Service plans are available for eight years/120,000km ($1650) or ten years/150,00km ($1950). Weekly payment plans and guaranteed future value is likewise available.
“Australia’s BEV market is maturing rapidly and the Enyaq is an expression of that,” said Skoda Australia head of product and marketing Kieran Merrigan.
“Enyaq is a BEV that, especially with its recent upgrades, embodies the dimensions and inherent value that a Kodiaq, Superb or an Octavia RS customer has every right to expect in a Skoda.
“European engineering and technology with transparency around ownership costs, underwritten by guaranteed future value, backed by expert dealership – that is not a proposition that more recent entrants to the Australian market can match.”
Initial customer deliveries of the 2025 Skoda Enyaq are slated to commence in December.
