Forester heads SUV crash ratings

SUBARU’S Forester has maintained its class-leading five-star crash rating in the latest Australian New Car Assessment Program.

ANCAP also conducted tests on the Mitsubishi Outlander, Lexus RX330, Toyota RAV4, Toyota Prado, Mitsubishi Pajero, Toyota LandCruiser, Mazda Tribute and Ford Escape, all of which scored four stars out of five.

The worst performer was the Nissan Patrol, which managed three stars.
