UNWILLING to let a week pass without launching another limited-run (500 units) model, Subaru Australia has created a Weekender edition of its Forester X compact off-roader, which has a claimed $6600 worth of extra value for $1800 over the RRP.

Starting from $33,790, the Weekender’s added features include leather seat and steering wheel trim, alloy wheels, a rear spoiler, tinted rear windows and a moulded cargo area hard mat.

Available in white, silver and garnet red paint colours - and with both manual and automatic transmission options - the Forester X Weekender is priced from $33,790. Metallic paint is an extra $350.
