Subaru's self-shifting spec B Liberty

SUBARU Australia has added an automatic version of its six-cylinder Liberty 3.0R spec B sedan or wagon to its model year 2006 range.

Priced from $50,990 for the sedan and $53,990 for the wagon – both of which are $1000 below the STI-developed six-speed manual versions – the auto 3.0R spec B rides on the same 18-inch wheels and sports suspension.

The automatic is a five-speed, close-ratio unit Subaru dubs Sportshift.
