Suzuki Jimny XL Heritage priced for Aus

SUZUKI has priced its retro-inspired Jimny XL Heritage for the Australian market this week, the five-door model now available from $36,490 plus on-road costs – or $1500 more than the derivative variant.

Limited to just 500 examples, the Suzuki Jimny XL Heritage is offered with many of the same features found on the three-door Jimny Heritage released in March last year, which sold out in a matter of hours.

Those features include a decal pack, red mudflaps, a Heritage cargo tray, limited build badge, and a merchandise pack.

Other feature highlights include 15-inch alloy wheels, a 9.0-inch infotainment array with wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Bluetooth connectivity, cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, LED headlights, and a reversing camera.

Suzuki says the Jimny XL Heritage celebrates the model’s “vibrant 4x4 heritage form the 70s, 80s, and 90s” with a five-speed manual transmission as the only option.

All Jimny variants are powered by a 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine developing 75kW/130Nm.

Five paint colours are available – Blueish Black, Chiffon Ivory, Granite Grey, Jungle Green and White – with premium colours attracting a $695 surcharge.

“Only 500 of these retro legends will be available. Delivery will be based on the current queue process as are all Jimny sales in Australia with the first arrival of vehicles being late June/early August 2024,” said Suzuki Australia in a statement.

“Sold out colour announcements will be made via Suzuki Australia social media channels and advised to the dealer network as they happen.”
