Suzuki offers drive-away pricing on Jimny…

BY MATT BROGAN | 18th Jul 2024

SUZUKI Australia has introduced national drive-away pricing for its strong-selling Jimny four-wheel drive, the light-segment SUV still the subject of lengthy waits, particularly in automatic format.

Pricing for the pint-sized off-roader opens at $34,990 drive-away in Lite three-door manual guise, the range topping XL five-door automatic now available from $41,990 drive-away.

Queensland is the only Australian state not to be included in the adoption of national drive-away pricing, the Sunshine State utilising an independent importer.

“We are excited to introduce drive-away pricing for Jimny, making it easier than ever for Australians to experience the thrill and functionality of this iconic vehicle, understanding in absolute transparency, it’s undeniable value,” said Suzuki Australia general manager Michael Pachota.

“Whilst wait times still apply, we are consistently succeeding in securing greater production in 2024, which means more customers can get behind the wheel of their new Jimny sooner.”

Mr Pachota indicated that wait times of up to three months remain for Jimny XL five-door models, with three-door manual transmission variants have a wait time of up to five months. Automatic three-door models face a wait time of up to eight months, depending on grade and colour preference.

Optionally, the Jimny range is available with single- or two-tone metallic paint which adds $745 or $1345 respectively to the advertised drive-away price.

From this week, the drive-away pricing offer is embedded in the Suzuki Australia website, allowing prospective buyers to configure their Jimny anywhere, anytime.

“This initiative not only showcases our commitment to consumer satisfaction, but also highlights Suzuki’s dedication and transparency in the automotive market,” Suzuki Australia said in a statement.
