BORROWING angular, aggressive styling from Toyota’s youth-oriented Scion brand in North American markets, the flagship of the Australian Corolla hatch range looks like it means business and very Gen-Y – especially with its darkness piercing LED headlights.
The theme continues inside, with a newly integrated central touchscreen surrounded by cool blue switchgear illumination and a colourful multi-function display graphics between the dials.
It shows how much can be done cosmetically to elevate a car with a dull-but-dependable reputation into an object of desire.
