THE cabin space of the LandCruiser utility shrank dramatically in 1985 when Toyota introduced the 75 Series, giving birth to the current body shape. The 75 Series was cramped and legroom, headroom, shoulder room and driver foot room was less than adequate. This issue has been addressed in the 78 Series with an all-round increase in cabin dimensions - and the changes are so welcome you wonder why it took Toyota nearly 15 years to make them.
