IT's not hard to see the Cruiser wagon's origins in the GXV. Big, bluff and rugged, it follows the standard country-conquering formula of its predecessors, as well as rivals like Nissan's Patrol. Externally, the GXV can be separated from its cheaper brethren by alloy wheels, front foglights, a moonroof and black painted side and rear steps. Funnily enough, while the front and rear bumpers are painted, they are not body coloured.
