MR2's sports seats come standard with a two-tone cloth trim, although a tan leather seat trim and roof cover is an option. The seats feature Toyota's WIL (Whiplash Injury Lessening) design and are designed to suit adults up to 190cm tall. The hip point has been lowered compared with the superseded MR2 while seat cushion firmness and damping have been increased. The passenger seat's leading edge has been tilted upwards 1.5 degrees to maximise hold.
