SOME people may love the all-new Toyota Prius’ striking styling, but many won’t. Which is a shame, because in most ways, the fourth-generation version of the pioneering petrol-electric hybrid is a better vehicle – and perhaps even the company’s best after the 86 coupe.

The great news is that, from behind the wheel, you cannot see the design from the inside.
