THE 50/50 split-fold rear seat slides fore and aft to increase either rear leg room or luggage space. Each half of the rear seat can tumble forward, and be removed completely, to extend the cargo carrying ability. Luggage volume has increased, with cargo space 150mm longer, 100mm wider and 60mm higher. Child restraint anchorage points are located on the rear seatbacks, the ideal place because the bench position can be moved and luggage space (or visibility, if mounted in the roof) is fully utilised. The fully lined luggage area has four tie-down hooks, a 12-volt power outlet, side-panel storage box, tailgate pocket and six shopping bag hooks. The five-door features a two-position luggage tonneau cover and an under-floor storage area. Only the five-door gets a luggage compartment lamp.
