TOYOTA has been selling Taragos to Australians since 1983, and for many people, the always-stylish people mover has transcended its role as mere transportation, becoming a symbol of freedom or adventure, in much the same way as 'Kombi' did a generation earlier. Now there is a new model, one that subtly addresses the wrongs of the previous model, to put the eight-seater Toyota back in the forefront of its segment. In $51,990 GLX guise, the latest Tarago is a very good thing.
