TOYOTA Motor Corporation is now officially the world’s largest car-maker.

The Japanese giant has finally knocked General Motors off the top of the tree.

Worldwide sales for the first quarter of 2007 show that Toyota sold 2.348 million vehicles, against General Motors’ 2.26 million.
