Visual tweaks give Yaris a mean look

TOYOTA has added cosmetic enhancements to its Yaris YRX, including a front spoiler, side skirts, roof-mounted rear spoiler and rear air spats.

The YRX is available as a three-door or five-door model variant, priced from $19,390 and $20,590 respectively. Both are fitted with the 80kW 1.5-litre engine found across the Yaris range (sans the entry 1.3-litre YR hatch).

Other unique YRX features include 15-inch alloy wheels, front foglamps and a six-disc in-dash CD stereo.

All Yaris models are fitted standard with dual airbags, ABS brakes and air-conditioning.

An "enhanced safety pack" with side airbags, a curtain airbag and driver’s knee airbag is available for $750, while a four-speed auto adds $1500.
